BREAKING: It's a Boy! Mr. M Dongo and Nyashadzashe Dongo Welcome Baby Asher Munyasha Dongo

LOS ANGELES — At 2:33 on a Saturday morning, in the quiet hours before sunrise, a new voice joined the Dongo family.
His name is Asher Munyasha Dongo. And after months of anticipation, a night of labor, and a lifetime of prayers, his parents are saying the words they have been waiting to say.
He's here.
Munyaradzi Dongo, known as Mr. M Dongo, founder of BNC International, and his wife, Nyashadzashe Dongo, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Asher Munyasha Dongo, at 2:33 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, in the early hours of the Sabbath. The birth came a day after the couple was admitted for labor and delivery in Hollywood, and two days after their first wedding anniversary. Now let's talk about this timing, and about this name, because neither is an accident.
Born on the Sabbath
Of all the hours a child could arrive, Asher chose the early morning of the Sabbath.
For a family whose life is built around faith, that is not a footnote. It is the headline inside the headline. The Dongos have always said God is not a part of their story but the center of it. Their son was born in the hush of a day set apart for rest, worship and gratitude, and his parents received him that way: with open hands.
The calendar has been writing this story for a while. Munya and Nyasha were legally married at Beverly Hills Courthouse on September 17, 2025. They were admitted for labor and delivery on September 18, 2026. By 2:33 a.m. on September 19, they were parents. One year, two days and one very long night after "I do," the family became three.
Why "Asher"?
Ask the Dongos about their son's first name and they do not talk about trends. They talk about Scripture.
In the Bible, Asher is one of the twelve sons of Jacob, born to Leah. His name is tied to happiness, blessing and joy. When Leah named him, she was declaring that she had been given something to be glad about, and that other people would call her blessed because of it.
The rest of Scripture carries that promise forward. Asher's tribe is described as abundant and favored, and Moses blesses the tribe with the words "Let Asher be blessed with children" (Deuteronomy 33:24, KJV). The picture is of a life marked by gratitude and provision.
That is the inheritance Munya and Nyasha wanted to hand their son. In their words, all the gratitude and blessings of Asher are upon Asher. They did not choose the name to describe who he might become. They chose it as a prayer over who he already is.
Why "Munyasha"?
If Asher is the prayer, Munyasha is the signature.
The name is a blend of his parents' own names: Munya and Nyasha. In Shona, the language of their homeland of Zimbabwe, Munyaradzi means "The Comforter and Nyashadzashe means the grace of God, and the combined name carries a meaning the family holds close: "in the grace."
So Asher Munyasha Dongo is, in a sense, a sentence. Blessed, in the grace.
It is a quiet way of saying that this child did not come from effort alone, and that every part of the story, from a TikTok introduction through Munya's brother Donald, to a hospital room in McKinney, Texas, to a birthday proposal at LA Bruschetta and a courthouse wedding in Beverly Hills, was held up by something bigger than the two of them. His middle name is a monument to that.
It is also a gift of heritage. The Dongos are Zimbabwean to the core, and they have been clear that their culture is not background but identity. Asher carries it in his name, in a language older than any hospital wall.

"We Are Going to Be Better"
There is a deeper reason this birth matters so much to Munya and Nyasha, and they are willing to say it plainly.
Both grew up without present fathers in their lives.
That is not a detail they offer for sympathy. It is the engine behind the home they are building. Having felt the absence themselves, they made a vow to each other long before Asher was born: their child would not know it. They would be present, patient, prayerful and involved, and they would be the kind of parents they wished they had had.
It is a promise that fits everything the Dongos have come to represent: that your beginnings do not have to decide your ending, that healing is part of growth, and that a family can be built on purpose, one decision at a time. In the delivery room, that promise finally had a face.
Munya, who has long spoken about showing up, once crossed the country overnight to sit beside Nyasha in a hospital bed because he refused to let her be alone. This time he stood beside her for the biggest arrival of their lives, and this time they were not strangers meeting for the first time. They were husband and wife, about to meet their son.
The Business Leader Becomes a Father
For many in Munya's professional world, Mr. M Dongo is the founder of BNC International: an entrepreneur, trainer and business coach who has spent years helping others build online businesses and escape the grind. For his family, he has always been something else first.
The Dongos have said entrepreneurship is a tool, not an identity, and that success without peace is failure. Asher's birth is the clearest expression of that belief yet. The deals, the platforms and the audience matter. But at 2:33 a.m. on Saturday, none of it was the point. The point was a baby boy, a grateful mother, and a father whose first act was to look at his son and say thank you.
A Family, Now Three
When the Dongos first shared their story with the world, they described themselves as a faith-driven, purpose-led family that chooses principles over trends and growth over perfection. They said they were building a legacy.
A legacy, it turns out, has a name now.
Asher Munyasha Dongo arrives into a home full of faith, a culture full of meaning and a family that prayed him into existence. His parents will keep sharing the journey in the same real, unfiltered way they always have: not just the highlights, but the sleepless nights, the lessons and the joy.
