We are The Dongos — Munyaradzi Dongo (Mr M Dongo) and Nyashadzashe Merlan Dongo — a husband-and-wife team building life, love, faith, and legacy in public. Not because we have it all figured out.
But because we believe real stories change real people.
Our journey didn’t begin with a perfect plan. It began with a conversation, a connection, and a calling bigger than both of us.
We come from Zimbabwean roots, raised on faith, family, and principles that taught us this truth early on:
Life is not meant to be lived alone — and purpose is not meant to be hidden.
Our story crossed borders before it ever crossed aisles. What started online turned into something deeper, something real. Our very first in-person “date” wasn’t fancy or romantic — it happened in a hospital, during a moment that tested fear, faith, and commitment all at once. And in that moment, we knew: this was bigger than us.

Nyashadzashe Merlan Dongo is a Nurse Practitioner, a compassionate leader, and a powerful advocate for mental health and holistic care. Born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, her passion for medicine and home care led her to pursue her dreams in the United States of America, where she now serves individuals and families with excellence and empathy.
She is the co-founder of The Dongos legacy, bringing heart, balance, and depth to the vision. Her work and lived experience have shaped a deep commitment to childhood mental health advocacy, believing that strong families begin with emotionally healthy children and supported parents.
Nyashadzashe embodies care beyond the clinic — nurturing minds, strengthening homes, and reminding families that healing is both personal and communal.
